Meet Pastor Jedidiah Ybarra

From San Jose, California, Jed's life transformed when he dedicated it to the Lord in June 2018. This pivotal moment followed his choice to attend Calvary Bible Institute in Yucca Valley, CA, where he met his future wife, Lauren. Upon completing his studies, he joined the maintenance team at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel in January 2020. Over his six-year tenure, he had the blessing of leading various ministries, including children's ministry, young adults, and teaching the Sunday night Bible study.

He and Lauren have two sons, Judah (2.5 y/o) and Jedidiah II (1 yr) and are expecting a baby girl this summer. After three years of prayerful discernment, they felt called to plant a Calvary Chapel in Sheridan, Wyoming. His core passions revolve around serving the Lord, his family, and enduring the annual letdown of the San Francisco 49ers.
